Rescue & Re-homing
Looking for adult Scottie to add to your family?
Not everyone wants a puppy for various reasons. Over the years, we have had much success in the re-homing of adult Scottis, either due to a rescue situation or a genuine re-homing. The Scottish Terrier Club of Victoria works with a rescue organisation when we identify Scotties who need to be surrendered or need to be rescued. Those dogs will be taken into care and assessed for both health and/or behavioural issues prior to re-homing. To find out more or to register your interest in a rescue Scottie, should one be available, please either contact the club or the rescue organisation we work with, All Westie Rescue. Don't let that name deter you, they work with all terriers of Scottish origin.
Looking to surrender or re-home your Scottie?
If you know of a Scottish Terrier that needs to be rescued or simply have a Scottish Terrier that needs to be re-homed, the Scottish Terrier Club of Victoria will be there to help, no questions asked.
We give the same compassion and consideration to finding the ideal hoome for an adult Scottie as we do a for a puppy. All parties can be assured that every care will be taken to assess the dog and find it its forever home. Please contact the club for a prompt response.
