Maribyrnong River Walk

Our inaugural Maribyrnong River Walk will be on Sunday 5 March 2023!

We'll be meeting at Maribyrnong Park Playground (off the Boulevard in Moonee Ponds) at 10am, before walking in a north west direction towards Aberfeldie Park.  We will then walk up to the Afton Street Pedestrian Bridge before heading back along the other side the river past the Chifley Park Dog Park and the Anglers Tavern.  We will then stop at the The Maribyrnong Boathouse for coffee before heading back to our cars.

The distance of the walk is approximately 5km.  The path is generally flat and sealed.  It is often very busy on Sunday mornings so keep a tight hold of Scottie leashes!
